Kuria West constituency aspirant Wilson Mogendi Saiya has vowed to floor the incumbent on August 9 polls.

Saiya, in a special interview with Migori News said his preferred party will be ODM and all was in place for new leadership in the constituency.

“Mathias has been at the helm for a decade, and we have poor bursary allocation during this period. Churches and individual efforts have been keeping poor students in school,” Saiya said.

He said apart from never uttering any word in parliament, Robi has been pre-occupied with following Deputy President William Ruto’s national rallies with little to show on the ground.

“He is a dealer and a broker, traits which has seen even Churches, boda boda and women group hired for UDA rallies complain,” Saiya said.

He claimed Robi has only been “replacing iron sheets in schools and finishing what was left by former legislators.”

Saiya vied in the last general elections, but dropped after shambolic Jubilee Party nominations that gave Robi the the ticket.

Afterwards he took up businessman, sunflower, maize and farming with a big bias in producing animal feeds around Isebania area.

“I have been adding value on sunflower to produce seedcake after i realised we used to import it from Miato area in Tanzania where a lorry was fetching Sh150,000,” he said.
