Former Rongo MP Dalmas Otieno met with speaker Boaz Okoth, rising political heat in 2022 general elections.

In photos released on social media, the two governor aspirants are seen posing for photos after a meeting with several advisors.

The two are close allies of Migori governor Okoth Obado and appear re-align their interests to pick a single ‘insider’ candidate ahead of August polls.

With Migori senator Ochillo Ayacko appearing to be a front runner ahead of the polls, the two aspirants appear to be planning on how to clip his political wings.

Dalmas is Ayacko’s political nemesis and already Obado has vowed no ‘outsider’ will inherit his seat in 2022.
