Sheila Gati Mwita, the Migori county Trade, Cooperative and Tourism Executive has set her sights firmly to be the next Migori Woman Representative in the 2022 general elections.
Mwita, who hails from Masaba area in Kuria West constituency was first appointed as the Public Service Management Executive where she she managed to set up 32 ward offices across the county out of possible 40 wards.
“In my tenure as the under the PSM docket we also managed to set up and build eight sub-county offices across Migori, including new ones in Kegonga and Suna West,” Mwita said.
While under her current office, Mwita helped build Mabera Cattle Auction market the biggest in South Nyanza region which attracts buyers and sellers all the way from Tanzania and Nairobi.
“We have also built several markets in Mariwa, Namba, Nyamosense. Kurityange centers which have new market shades,” she said.
Her department has also seen her complete markets at Kehancha, Rongo, Kegonga and God Jope towns which were left before the onset of devolution.

With the 2022 general elections around the corner and public servants seeking to vie in instructed to resign by February, Gati has been tight lipped on her political move.
Already, social media platforms have heavily linked her for the Woman Representative seat which will be left vacant by the incumbent Pamela Odhiambo who wants to vie for governor in the next polls.
