The teenager who wishes to work within the media and entertainment industry thanked her teachers and parents for the efforts they made to ensure the 2020 candidates at the institution were able to achieve top grades despite the covid pandemic which halted learning processes across the nation for seven months.
“II owe my achievement to my parents and the Kenya high school community that worked tirelessly to ensure they instilled confidence and encouraged us through out our stay in school even when the pandemic hit the nation,” said Nicole.
Nicole noted the sky isn’t the limit and having attained an A- instead of her targeted grade of A plain, she is positive towards her ambitions and noted that she has no regrets since she can still pursue an ingeneering course through a direct entry into the university.
“Constant consultations with our teachers and support from parents was key and readily available towards supporting our education and target of maintaining the top position at the national level.” Added Nicole.
His father who could not hide his joy took to his social media to congratulate Nicole for the achievement.
The former Rarieda MP noted that her daughter had made him proud for having defied all odds brought by the pandemic and garnering a top grade in the exams.
Eng. Gumbo urged parents to encourage their children both morally and in academics to enable them achieve their dreams by having total concentration on their education.
“Nicole has made me proud once again by attaining good grades in the just released national exams results and even more by wanting to specialize in engineering like me. I wish her well in her endeavours and I know she has the ability to achieve her goals.” Said Gumbo.
