Nyatike MP Tom Odege has said recent move by Migori governor Okoth Obado to announce that he will decamp from ODM to PDP did not come as a surprise.
Odege, in a video shared on social media termed him self as self-styled leading critic of the governor.

“For a long time we knew Obado was not in ODM and did not support the building bridges initiative, he is free to go,” Odege said.
He said for Obado to decamp from ODM and antagonise Raila, “who made him a person is a great insult Migori towns after fleecing county coffers to make his money overnight when he was elected governor.”
“We will instigate investigations to unearth how he and his cronies made their millions,” Odege said.
He said for two terms Obado has served Migori residents, his record “is poor and he has deprived residents.”
He said Obado has a democratic right to vie for any position he wishes for and use any party, but as Raila lieutenants they know he is associated with Deputy President William Ruto when he “distributed wheelbarrows openly.”
Hon Tom Odege has lost his priorities.
Mr Tom Odege the Nyatike Mp , please can you tell people of west kadem (Got kachola ward) why the tarmacking of the road heading to Muhuru -bay has taken too long and instead was deviated to Sori Karungu? please give the reason why or else stop blame game. we are going to demand/push through BBI for Nyatike to be divided into two of which we know you are against!! we are tired of talking about this road each and every time. what have you done to the great people of Nyatike since you were elected?the politics of Nyatike will never be the same, take it to the bank my friend. Mr: Odiso Ogenga please get prepared we need this road to be completed soonest once you get there and Tiany Omondi Anyanga Omuga former Mp, please team up with Ogenga as you became the next Governor of Migori we need all the roads and other projects done. please people of Nyatike lets stand up and speak with one voice.
