Four candidates give birth as 20,727 candidates sit for KCSE in Migori

Four Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KSCE) candidates in Migori county will sit their examinations from maternity ward after giving birth.

Suna East Deputy County Commissioner (DCC) Kibe Maguta said the four, two from Suna East and the others from Kuria East gave birth during the eve of the examinations.

“The candidates will do their exams, we pray that we don’t get more maternity cases as exams progresses,” he said.

He said examinations started smoothly in the county which he aid they wil ensure is credible.

The DCC stated that In Suna East there was no single case of an attempt to cheat. He said that security measures are in place to ensure everything runs smoothly.
