Rongo sub-county police have launched a manhunt for a mother who dumped her about two months old daughter in Rongo town.
Mama mbogas from the market heard the infant wailing at Rongo G4S offices after she was abandoned.
“They alerted police who came in and took her to the children office, the women who picked her named her Esther Nikon,” Peter Okiring’ area police boss said.
Okiring’ said they were close to nabbing the woman as investigation have intensified.
