Migori senator Ochulo Ayacko has downplayed his skipping the burial of Mama Lenora Obado last Friday.
Speaking to the press in Awendo town, the senator said his absence was not personal at Rapogi function for burial of the mother of governor Okoth Obado.
“We spoke with Obado and his brother Daudi on phone . I would’ve have been the matter personally, but i was held up. There is no need of alarm,” Ayacko said.
He said personally he sent a representative and his ‘hand was felt in the funeral.’
“I condoled with the Obado family, there is no politics when we mourn,” he said.
