BREAKING NEWS: Obado, co-accused have raised Sh45m cash bail, are out except daughter Scarlet

Migori Governor Okoth Obado and co-accused have raised Sh45million cash bail set by high court on Monday on corruption allegations.

Obado and all his children will be out except his daughter Susan Scarlet Okoth who did not avail her passport in time, as court ordered all suspects to deposit the travel document.

The Star, a national newspaper broke the news on their website.

“Migori Governor Okoth Obado, all his children except one, and other co-accused  raised a total of Sh45 million to secure their release on bail on Monday,” the paper wrote.

It added: “Obado’s daughter, Susan Scarlet Okoth, was not released despite depositing her Sh3 million bail after failing to surrender her passport, which she said she had misplaced.”
