Obado is desperate to blog from prison that I want to impeach him- Ayacko

Migori governor Okoth Obado took to blogging from prison on Monday morning to accuse senator Ochilo Ayacko of being behind alleged impeachment drive.

On Monday morning before appearing before Magistrate Lawrence Mugambi at Milimani anti-corruption court, Obado though his personal phone number took to blogging at M.R.C Original WhatsApp group about pending impeachment.

“Senator doing the coordination and bragging that once MCA’s do their part, the remainder at the senate is as good as done,” Obado posted.

But Ayacko told Migori News that it was desperate for the governor to turn into blogging insisting the post if indeed was “his personal post, it should not be dignified with a response.”

“Gov Obado should not show this level of desperation by attempting to blogging in person and getting his facts wrong,” Ayacko said in the text.

The post took other members of the group by surprise with Erico Dagama, the admin questioning the authenticity of the post.

But Otieno Sije, the Migori county public communication officer took to the WhatsApp group to confirm the authenticity of the post saying all 10 Migori MPs, except Kuria West Mathias Robi were out to impeach Obado.

Sije said after attempts by legislators to push MCAs to their agenda failed, they turned to MCAs in the Tuesday meeting.
