Decomposing body of Suna West MP Peter Masara’s brother was found in a rented house in Oruba estate, Migori town on Wednesday evening.

The body of Michael Odhiambo, 43, was found at his rented house while seated on a chair, bare chest.

Neighbours said they noticed something was amiss when the door was locked for long and flies were hvering around the door and windows.

“He lived alone and was a working in construction sector, he used to stay out for days as his family was away,” a neighbour said.

Oruba assistant chief Charles Ouma said they got information from neighbours about 5pm.

“Police have launched investigations as the body has been taken to Migori Referral Hospital,” Ouma said.

According to Masara, his brother was suffering from TB.

Burial is slotted for Friday in Kasembo village, Suna West.
